How to read the map
Color identifies a research direction. Thin links connect tasks to their cited research works; dark links mark published experiment measurements. Larger circles identify systems and works with more linked tasks. Positions arrange the landscape for exploration: distance is not a measure of intelligence, scientific similarity, or progress toward AGI.
Recorded activity is a published snapshot. An improvement is a change from the initial score within its own evaluator; it is not a cross-task ranking or proof of recursive self-improvement. Cells and tools show recorded research activity, with measurement coverage in the inspector.
